Bimma Williams: Co-Founder, Claima Stories
Bimma Williams is the Co-Founder of Claima, a Black and Brown owned media company based in Portland, Or. He’s also host of Claima Stories, the leading career podcast for Black and Brown creatives on Apple Podcasts, which debuted at the Black Footwear Forum in 2019. Over the past decade, Bimma has held positions at some of the most coveted companies, from Global Entertainment Marketing for Nike to key marketing positions at the likes of Adidas and Saucony.
Williams left his ‘dream job’ to create Claima to address the alarming disparity of Black, Latino, Asian, and Indigenous youth within the creative industries. He’s conducted interviews with the likes of Tyler, the Creator, and has provided creative direction on an award winning docuseries for Sperry, titled “Reclaim Your Water”.

Last fall, he premiered his own show on Amazon Music called “Bars and Nuggets” interviewing Hip Hop artists Coi Leray, The Game, Hit Boy, and more. For his notable work with Claima, Bimma was spotlighted on Complex, Forbes, and Footwear News, and was highlighted on Adweek Creative 100 for creating the #1 Career podcast on Apple.
On September 30th, he’ll be releasing his first sneaker with the brand that gave him his start, Saucony.
