The annual Black Footwear Forum National Event, hosted by FDRA and PLC Detroit returns this September bolder and more powerful than ever. We’re bringing the community together to OWN OUR POWER and DEFINE THE FUTURE through timely, bold, and innovative conversations that shape what’s next.

Through keynotes and panel discussions, breakout sessions and activations, this free event brings together Black footwear professionals, students, executives, allies, and supporters to foster community and drive the industry towards greater inclusivity and representation reflective of its diverse consumer base. Join us in taking the steps to close the gaps and celebrate the contributions of Black Americans in the footwear industry.

Event Safety and Security
In light of the events happening across our country, we are taking the safety of
our staff, speakers, and participants with the highest level of seriousness. For that reason, we are implementing and strictly adhering to a NO WEAPONS POLICY across all Black Footwear Forum events and properties.

To ensure this standard, ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL BE REQUIRED TO GO THROUGH OUR SECURITY CHECKPOINTS at the front entrance of the ICON building before gaining access to Forum programming.
